Tedeschi Trucks Band at Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Tedeschi Truck Band is an American blues and blues rock group that is based in Florida that came together in 2010 after touring as two separate groups and them marrying into each other to form one amazing group that harmonises together so well, you would think they have been practicing and touring together as one group for over 20 years!

No wonder the group has such good chemistry! The band is led by the married couple, Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks. Before they combined the group they toured together in 2007 as the Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi Soul Stew Revival. Their first concert as a combined group was on April 1st at the Savannah Music Festival.

Their debut album “Revelator” was released in 2011 and it was such a hit that by the time the 2012 Grammy awards came around they won a Grammy award for best blues album. They went on to create five studio albums and three live albums. Their second album was recorded and released in 2012 and was titled “Everybody’s’ Talkin’” which peaked in the third position on the United Kingdom Jazz and Blues albums.

In 2013 the band was nominated the Blues Music Awards and then went on to release “Made up My Mind”, their third album. 2015 came around and they made a tribute concert to ‘Joe Cocker Mad Dogs and Englishmen’ at the Lockin’ festival, this featured alumni musicians from that album. Then their 2016 album “Let Me Get By” debuted at number 15 on the billboard top 200 albums sale charts.

Tedeschi Truck Band released a quadruple album in 2022 titled “I Am the Moon” which featured 24 original songs that were released throughout the year.
