Widespread Panic will play three nights at the renowned Red Rocks Amphitheater on June 21–23, 2024.
Widespread Panic announced that the band has canceled its three-night concert in Chicago. A last-minute change in plans was brought about by an unidentified health concern for bassist Dave Schools, according to a statement issued by WSP on social media. After a short time in the hospital, Schools is now "on the road to a full recovery and in good spirits".
Along with new live dates, Widespread Panic has been releasing new music gradually. The first piece of new music was a studio version of "Little By Little," which was released on January 26, 2024. On July 29, 2023, the song made its live debut at Huntsville, Alabama's The Orion Amphitheater. On February 15, they released a second single as a follow-up, "We Walk Each Other Home." The group's final studio release prior to releasing the 2024 singles was the 2015 album Street Dogs, which peaked at No. 53 on the Billboard 200 chart.
