Above & Beyond at Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Above & Beyond consists of Jono, Tony, and Paavo. They’ve spearheaded the genre “electronic dance music” since their formation in 2000. After over two decades of being together, the trio is still up on their game and releasing music for their legions of fans around the world.

They set up Ajunabeats, a British record label, and released their first single, “Volume One.” The Anjunabeats record label began as a way for them to release their own songs. However, as the label’s name was the same as their production alias, they began to release music under new identities, most notably “Dirt Devils” and “Free State.” Their first single immediately garnered attention from various dance clubs and quickly gained support from DJs such as Pete Tong, Paul Oakenfold, Judge Jules, and Paul van Dyk.

Above & Beyond is described by UK music bible Q Magazine as “the world’s biggest cult band” because of their large fan following and how the fanbase is known to share love and kindness at every show. Jade Chai and Maddie Welch wrote about their experience with one of their live shows and said, “The Anjuna family is a unique crowd of music and people lovers. As always, everyone was supportive, courteous, and kind. There was a sense of pride, acceptance, and love from all attendees. The legendary trio just announced that they are returning to the iconic venue, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, after two years for a long-awaited two-night run.
