Yo, Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals are having a massive party at the Red Rocks you in? That’s right, Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals are bringing The Malibu Tour to Morrison Colorado, on Wednesday 2nd October 2024. Plenty of friends are tagging along with them as well. Naturally, although Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals have some songs together; they also work apart. Anderson .Paak’s actually promoting his new album “Why Lawd” on this tour.
Maurice “Mobetta” Brown is one of the opening acts. He’s going to bring his trumpet and jazzy tunes to throw into the mixer on this night. “Mobetta” could very well bust out a few solos, but he’s also likely going to be part of the background music for the entire show. He’s one of the trumpet players today that stands his own as a solo act.
Duo Gawd is also going to be on stage on this Wednesday night in Morrison. They give off some serious Destiny’s Child vibes. In most of their tracks, though, they lean way more towards hip-hop and R&B than pop like the famous trio. They’re surely going to get the crowd going way before Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals hit the stage.

When you go to a concert to see a particular artist, it can be a bit of an unsettling bet if you really think about it. If the performer comes out and just has an off night or the show is for some reason not good, it’s going to be a bad experience. When you go to an event for the entire vibe that’s gonna be in the air you got a better chance of having a good time! This Malibu Tour that Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals are on is a vibe all on its own. Sure, if you’re out here in the Red Rocks because you like Anderson .Paak’s solo work you can also have a great night.
This promises though to be one of those events where you’ll be up out of your seat from the word go. If you had to sell this concert to a friend or two it may be better to say yo, we’re going to a block party at the Red Rocks you in? There’s going to be jazz, hip-hop, some R&B. This night is going to be amazing, no matter what!
As mentioned, Anderson .Paak’s got a new “solo” album out. Most of the tracks feature some type of guest artist. Across the board, though, you can feel the R&B influence in these songs. If you’re looking for a wild card to spice up the show at the Red Rocks on Wednesday, October 2nd even more keep in mind that Dave Chappelle is actually one of the guest performers in one of the tracks on this album. It would be really wild if the famous comedian came out on stage to sing. With the amount of people that are going to be gracing the stage on this night, you may even miss Chappelle’s cameo.
The Red Rocks Amphitheater is an iconic venue, but there may be a few tips and tricks you’re not aware of. For this night, the theater will be divided into multiple sections. It won’t be your regular full general admission setup. If you want to see the show perfectly and maybe escape the cold a bit, the middle rows of the reserved center areas could be a great spot.
