Atmosphere, Method Man & Redman at Red Rocks Amphitheatre

This event comes hot off the release of Atmosphere’s 2023 record, So Many Other Realities Exist Simultaneously. If you didn’t already know, Atmosphere is an outrageously talented hip hop duo hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Made up of rapper Slug (Sean Daley) and DJ/producer Ant (Anthony Davis), these legends are so iconic to the touring circuit that they’ve earned a star for constantly selling out venues and demonstrating a major contribution to the culture. Receiving a star "might be the most prestigious public honor an artist can receive in Minneapolis," says journalist Steve Marsh. Joining Atmosphere at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater is the one and only Method Man. With his signature steady flow, gritty bellow, and imaginative rhymes, Method Man has become one of the biggest stars in the hip hop scene. The rapper became the first solo breakout star from legendary nineties rap crew Wu-Tang Clan. Over the years, he’s dropped a slew of Top Ten albums, including his 1994 debut Tical, which is home to the Grammy-winning duet with Mary J. Blige, "I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By." Fast forward to 2018 and he’s still as current as ever. His Meth Lab II: The Lithium mixtape soared on top with guest appearances from hip-hop heavyweights like Snoop Dogg, Raekwon, Redman, Cappadonna, and many others.

Initially working with EPMD on 1990’s Business as Usual, Redman stepped out as a solo artist with 1992's debut Whut? Thee Album. This masterful rapper blends reggae and funk influences with topical lyrics. His fluid vocal style can be sometimes satirical, sometimes silly, but always tough. With a string of gold albums, including Darkside, Muddy Waters, and Doc's da Name, Redman is a mainstay in the scene and an icon on the stage.
