Everyone here at the Red Rocks Amphitheater is so excited to welcome back Big Gigantic for their annual Rowdytown hoedown right here at the Rocks on Saturday September 27th - celebrating their thirteenth annual one! With a set from Maddy O’Neal and two from Big Gigantic themselves (one deemed as their “Bring The Funk Back” set and the other being their “Rowdytown” throwdown), you won’t want to miss this legendary yearly event that all your friends keep telling you to get tickets for. 

Big Gigantic, made up of Dominic Lalli and Jeremy Salken, are the master emcees that we all know and love who have made some of our favorite mash ups of sound since 2012. Deemed as one of the only groups in the game mixing live instrumentation with rocking bass and 808, the crew got their first mainstream success after releasing their album Brighter Future back in 2016. With collaborations from Waka Flocka Flame, Logic, and GRiZ, the duo was able to crack the Billboard’s EDM charts, and solidified their lively performances with tour dates in Europe, South America, Asia, and of course - right at home in Colorado. Their singles and seven albums have held them up since then, and they’ve collaborated and toured with some of the biggest artists in the game right now - so seeing them headline their super special yearly show that they have down to a science is a must see. 

Maddy O’Neal is the female DJ who you absolutely need to know. A certified sergeant of bringing the vibes and an immersive landscape to all of her sets, the self taught DJ grounds her music in soul and funky breakbeats that can get any crowd dancing. With slow and melodic hits like Zest Please and hits for the headbangers like Wish You Could, Maddy is in a lane of her own - and we’re so here for it! She has collabed with of course Big Gigantic, but also other artists like Pretty Lights, Clozee, Liquid Stranger, and many many more in the bass community. At only eight years in the game and with a fan base that keeps bringing new ears to every one of her shows, there’s no telling where Maddy will be in five years, ten years, or even after her opening set this September for Rowdytown!
