With the guitar and banjo as their main instruments, Caamp delivers heartfelt tunes that many listeners love. Formed by childhood buddies Evan Westfall and Taylor Meier, the band grew to a trio with the addition of bassist Matt Vinson. Later on, Joseph Kavalec became their keyboardist. The band has released four studio albums, one live album, and eleven singles.
After adopting the name Caamp in 2015, the band gained virality after their self-titled LP came out. After this, they slowly gained traction as they did tours and as a result of succeeding songs such as "Hey Joe," "Common Man," and "26." After a short hiatus, they came back in 2018 with the "Boys" (Side A) EP, which added electric guitar and a more robust feel to a number of the new songs. The "Boys" (Side B) EP was released a few months later. Their third album, "By & By," came out in 2019 and topped the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart. The next year, the group released "Fall, Fall, Fall" and the AAA-charting "Officer of Love," and in 2021, they released the emotional single "Square One." Their fourth album, "Lavender Days," came out in 2022.
This summer, Caamp will be touring many North American Cities. Catch them on one of their stops at the Red Rocks Amphitheater on Thursday, July 20. Ticket sales have started. Buy yours now!
