Who doesn’t love themselves some Cake?

Everybody, and we mean, EVERYBODY, gobbles up the vibey, tongue-in-cheek bangers the quirky band has up their sleeves. Whether you’re a punk, a hippie, a jam band type, a nerd, an older bro, or someone in the music business calling others ‘dude’, there is a Cake smasher or twenty that you love madly.

Just how sweet is the news that Cake will be going ‘The Distance’ again this year? Apart from shows popping up here and there, and a single dropping every now and then, Cake is finally slated to release a new album in 2025. And now, what is even better, they are hitting the road for a limited date tour, set to kick off in mid-April 2025 in Little Rock, Arkansas, visiting some major venues before wrapping up at the end of July 2024 in Dillon, Colorado.

Fans are surely in for a concert for the books! Every time Cake hits the stage they are better, entertaining crowds with their eclectic blend of genres, which is pretty much anything you can think of - from rock and jazz to alternative and country, from hip hop and mariachi to Iranian folk music and funk. It’s a Cakey spread of crowd pleasers, belt-alongs and slam-dunks about car safety belts, short skirts and long jackets, and… well, sheep going to heaven and goats to hell. Here’s the deal though - Cake is simply brilliant, both on recordings and live in concert. With the enigmatic frontman, John McCrea’s iconic, “droll, deadpan, monotone” vocals, vibraslap playing and tongue-in-cheek lyrics, Vince DiFiore’s prominent trumpet lines, Todd Roper’s drumming, Xan McCurdy’s legendary guitar riffs, and bassist Daniel McCallum’s funky lines, the sweetest, juiciest music see the light. Every single show is unique - bumpered to the brim with surprises, spontaneous jams, crowd participation, and tree-handouts.

Now add all of that to the breathtaking surrounds and views of the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, throw the immaculate acoustics, sound and lighting into the mix, and top it with a whopping seating capacity of 9,000 spread across bleacher-style seating on different levels, and you have yourself the tastiest musical experience of the year!

So, will you be living ‘comfort eagle’, or go ‘the distance’ and get your tickets for this one?

Do it - we know you want to!
