Carl Cox at Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Red Rocks Amphitheater is excited to welcome Carl Cox to the stage for a one night only, standalone show here in Morrison - which sits right outside of Denver. And Carl isn’t coming alone - he also will bring Vintage Culture, Anna, BONTAN and more to the stage for what is sure to be a once in a lifetime show. 

Carl Cox, the English Big Room and House DJ who came up during the early 80s, is the electronica emcee you’ve probably heard but didn’t realize was him. He came up in London but was tapped into the Chicago House Music Scene as it was finding its footing, and he brought the sounds over to the U.K. simultaneously. He became a frequent and sought after name during that time all around London’s rave scene, and the rest is DJ history. He traveled around Europe playing shows in Ibiza and Berlin, and making his own hits as well. Cox has done everything under the sun - including making his own record label which boasts some of the talent that will be playing alongside him. And now, he continues his global reign on the genre by doing pop up shows wherever he pleases. Carl Cox is the original beatmaker and curator of good vibes - so much so that he’s made full albums when he’s not even trying. Speaking on an album he made while playing around during the Pandemic, Carl told Music Tech Magazine “I found as I was doing all these different ideas while I was jamming that I was actually making a live album,” he says. “I wasn’t expecting to do an album. But everything that was coming about, I could tell – ‘That’s another track. That’s another track. That’s another track.’ I found myself doing about 25 tracks,”. Now, whatever you think of his music, you can’t deny that that’s talent. 

Playing alongside Cox will be Vintage Culture with a B2B to DJ Anna, BONTAN, and The Bordas Brothers. All of these DJs boast tens of thousands of monthly listeners on streaming platforms, plus bumping shows and collaborations with artists across the globe. And more than anything, they’ve got a stamp of approval from EDM greatness - and sometimes that’s all you need to know you’ll have a good time.
