Charley Crockett is hot off his Grammy Award-nominated 2024 set “$10 Cowboy,” and is already moving into the major label ranks. After celebrating the 10th anniversary of his debut album, the Texas-born country singer has just dropped what might just be his best record to date. The Americana singer and songwriter co-produced the brand new album, “Lonesome Drifter,” alongside Shooter Jennings. They recorded the album in just 10 days at the iconic Sunset Sounds Studio in Los Angeles. Dropped on March 14, this is Charley Crockett’s fifteenth record to date and boasts a gorgeous set of soulful, psychedelic-tinged country-blues songs. Fans and critics alike are raving about Lonesome Drifter, with Studio One saying, “Crockett’s latest album, Lonesome Drifter, is right up there with his best offerings — maybe even his strongest to date.
