Louis The Child at Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Louis the Child is an unforgettable name for an even more unforgettable group. Starting off their origin story at a Madeon Concert in 2012 as well as both of them going to the New Trier High School in Winnetka with Robby Hauldren in the class of 2015 and Freddie Kennett in the class of 2016.

After they created the group we now know as Louis the Child they went on to play small venues throughout 2013 and 2014. The following year they made their breakthrough in popularity with the single “It's Strange”. They were both still teenagers at the time but had now been recognized by multiple celebrities such as Taylor Swift who even added their single to her “Songs that will make life awesome” Playlists. This hit was also added into the FIFA 16 soundtrack and was also featured in a 2019 commercial for Nissan Kicks.

Louis the Child has also opened for multiple artists such as “Madeon” which was nostalgic for them, “Chainsmokers” and many more. The Duo then started touring on their own in the summer of 2015 and then in Chicago in 2017 they headlined a 32-show tour with supporting artists such as Lauv, Louis Futon, Win and Woo and many others. During this same period, they also made various stop offs along the way including playing at a sold-out thanksgiving show at the Argon Ballroom.

They were also the opening act for the European leg of the shelter live tour. Louis the Child also performed at the Lollapalooza festival in Chile, Argentina and Brazil. They then Released their single “Better Not” featuring Wafia in 2018 which now has over two hundred and fifty million views across multiple platforms.
