ABOUT MY MORNING JACKET

In the early 2000s, My Morning Jacket surged to prominence with the release of their third album, It Still Moves. The record gained some traction online and later entered the Billboard 200, their first record to break into the chart. Five years later, the band dropped Evil Urges, the career defining work that catapuled them into the Billboard 200’s top ten. The album spawned the hit, “I’m Amazed,” which peaked at number 5 on Billboard’s AAA chart. After their breakthrough, My Morning Jacket continued to gained traction with their follow up effort, Circuital. The album featured several chart performing titles, including “Holding On to Black Metla,” “Outta My System,” and the title track. The band followed with a two part album, The Waterfall and The Waterfall II. The latter would then spawned the band’s number 1 AAA hit, “Feel You.” Their tenth album, Is,  was announced early in the year in conjunction with a music video released for the effort’s lead single, “Time Waited.”
