Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats at Red Rocks Amphitheatre

In February, Nathaniel Rateliff took his trusty horn-flanked band, the Night Sweats, home to Canada to play in support for City & Colour, stopping off at Saskatoon, Winnipeg, London, Ottawa, Quebec, Halifax and more. Then, The South of Here Tour 2024 kicks off across the pond with a headlining UK tour featuring a string of dates in London, Manchester, Glasgow, York, Bristol and Wolverhampton, followed by a slew of other European stops including Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, and more, set for this summer including some pretty big festivals, that side, like Main Square Festival in France, Pikinik I Parken Festival in Norway, Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands, Nos Alive in Portugal and Mad Cool Festival in Spain.

Rateliff does turn his gaze stateside briefly for a one-off show at Boettcher Concert Hall in Denver, CO, for the Leonard Cohen songbook, backed by a full orchestra. And, of course, the annual takeover of the Red Rocks Amphitheater happening this year on August 20th and 21st with special guests, Futurebirds.

Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats announced their fourth full-length studio album, South of Here, due for release on June 28, 2024, along with the first single off the album, "Heartless." Watch the video for this first single down below.

The new album's 11 tracks are all written by Rateliff and performed by The Night Sweats; Nathaniel Rateliff, Luke Mossman, Joseph Pope III, Mark Shusterman, Patrick Meese, Daniel Hardaway, Jeff Dazey, and Andreas Wild, while the album was produced by Brad Cook.

“Brad was a great producer to write alongside. This album is a look into my own struggle with anxiety, insecurity and also stories of my life. He encouraged me to take responsibility for my own narrative in the songs and to write about what’s happening in my own life,” Rateliff notes. “These recordings were done together in a room with my closest friends. I hope these songs and stories give you an opportunity to better understand your own struggles, whatever they may be.”
