His incredible diversity, impressive vocals delivered with ease, unparalleled musical prowess, and electrifying, timeless hits landed him countless accolades during his career, including 17 Grammy Awards, three Brit Awards, a Golden Globe, an Emmy Award, and an Ivor Novello Award for Lifetime Achievement. He was also inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Police and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
