Tape B at Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Red Rocks Amphitheater is super excited to welcome Tape B to the stage on October 10th as he takes on his first ever headlining position at our rocky coliseum. Added to the dance madness are performances from Cool Customer, MPH, Know Good, and Richard Finger, a diverse and melodic mashup that's guaranteed to make this show a once in a lifetime link up. Y'all ready for round 1?!

Tape B is somewhat of a mystery outside of his music, with little written about him online besides particularly curated interviews and official statements from his label. The Florida native who moved from Turkey boasts one million plus monthly listeners across all streaming platforms, and has an affinity for dubstep flips that mix in hip hop vocals and special collaborations. His music sounds like your favorite soundcloud mix to workout to (and it probably is to be honest), and his style takes inspiration from the greats like RL Grime and Subtronics. He thrives on nostalgia and reviving old names that we’ve all jammed to before - some of his best collabs are with hip hop artists Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, and T-Pain. 

Tape B, whose real name is Kemal Alkanat, has no secret formula or special recipe for his massive hits and devoted following - he simply is a student of the game, and absolutely loves making music.  In an interview last year with UKF, he said “I just love this sh*t. All I can think about is making music. Whenever I’m not making music, like even when I’m playing video games or whatever, I find myself wishing I was making music instead. I make music when I’m on tour too, and that’s cool, but nothing beats the feeling of sitting in my room, in front of my studio speakers, making new music. That’s my main hobby, and I love that so many people are ready to listen to my music whenever I drop something new,” he said. “Because, at the end of the day, music is about having fun. If I’m not giggling and having a great time, what’s the point?”. And that energy exudes in his mixes and every song he puts out.
