The Revivalists & Spoon at Red Rocks Amphitheatre

The Revivalists are currently 15 years into their successful career. The band’s current lineup includes David Shaw [lead vocals, guitar], Zack Feinberg [guitar], Andrew Campanelli [drums], George Gekas [bass], Ed Williams [pedal steel guitar], Rob Ingraham [saxophone], Michael Girardot [keyboard, trumpet], and PJ Howard [drums, percussion]. In an announcement on X (formerly Twitter), the band wrote: “It's always a special time at @RedRocksCO so relive "Don't Look Back" from this year now and be sure to grab tickets to our 2-night run on the iconic stage with @spoontheband before they sell out.”

The band released their fith studio album, Pour It Out into the Night, this year and it has seen great success. "Art can revive and make life feel vibrant," said the band’s drummer Andrew. "Live music can especially do that. When we first started out, we were watching New Orleans rebuild after Katrina, and fight to keep the city's spirit alive. In a way, that's what we're seeing now, except on a global scale. Everybody realizes what they almost lost, and it happens to be many of the things New Orleans is known for – being with friends, experiencing things good and bad, building fulfilling relationships, and going to concerts and restaurants. It boils down to the zest for life - that's what our band name and music are all about."

On the other side of the coin, we have Spoon. The band consists of members Britt Daniel [vocals, guitar], Jim Eno [drums], Alex Fischel [keyboards, guitar], Gerardo Larios [guitar, keyboards] and Ben Trokan [bass, keyboards]. Spoon’s been around for two decades, with a discography spanning 10 full-length studio albums. Their most recent release was ‘Lucifer on the Sofa’ which came out in 2022.
