Thievery Corporation at Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Red Rocks Amphitheatre is so excited to welcome Thievery Corporation, Beats Antique, and Moontricks to the stage for a one-off show for all of the Denver area listening pleasure. 

Masterminds behind Thievery Corporation, Rob Garza and Eric Hilton, created the group while chatting and partying together at Washington D.C.’s Eighteenth Street Lounge. Drawn to each other by their love of eclectic sounds and club music, they theorized the idea of an electronic duo that blends Jazz, Dub, Bossa Nova, and Reggae - and Thievery Corporation was born! And the rest is history - combining eclectic sounds and instruments from all over the world has earned them respect from music industry insiders and fans alike. They’ve toured extensively in their three decade career - playing festivals like Lollapalooza, Newport Jazz Fest. Psycho Las Vegas, and No Borders Festival - to name a few. 

Their live shows are a mix of high energy and airy lyrics - and so much dancing and vibing, too! Speaking of a performance she saw the band at in Philly, Lisa Schaffer from WXPN has called their performance “incredibly engaging” and mentions how “The crowd was dancing the entire 2 hours the band played. Everyone had a smile on their face as they were packed like sardines in the small venue. No one cared; they just danced. The singers gave their all. The energy was high, and it was an incredible show,”.

These guys know how to speed it up, how to slow it down, and above all - how to hold our attention! Given their range, there’s no telling what they’ll play any night they take the stage - BUT, here is what they played the last time they came on stage back in February at NYC’s Terminal 5:
