Red Rocks Amphitheatre
The Getz boys from Virginia Beach are back on tour in 2025, and this time, it's a very special occasion. Turnover is not actually turning 10 years old; they're a little older than that. However, it's been 10 years since they launched "Peripheral Vision." That's the band's most popular album to date. They're celebrating the occasion with a roadie also titled "Peripheral Vision." The first stop for the band in 2025 might be the best of them all. It's taking place at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado, on Friday, May 2nd.
Turnover is a band that has been very faithful to the name. So much so that they've covered pretty much all the subgenres that rock has to offer with at least one track. The emo days were in the past, but since this is the 10th-anniversary tour, you might hear all sorts of sounds coming from them on Friday, May 2nd. This promises to be one of the best rock shows in Morrison throughout 2025. Click the get tickets button to be in the crowd on this night.
Since this is the 10-year anniversary tour of a particular album, expect the band to play all the top tracks from that release. "Cutting My Fingers" might be a good lead-off song since it comes first on the original album. From there, you can expect the set list to include "Dizzy On The Comedown" and "Take My Head." In fact, the promise the band's making for this tour is that they're going to perform the entire album live at every stop.
A few years back, online database AllMusic said of Turnover that they left behind their emo and punk rock influences to now feature "a more introspective sound that incorporated the lushness of dream pop and the tender melodies of indie pop." Their Peripheral Vision album is already mostly considered part of the band's dream pop era, but it's still going to be interesting to see how The Getz boys and their crew turn back the hands of time a bit. In more recent years their music has included Austin Getz on keyboards. That's pretty much all you need to know to realize how deep into dream pop they've gone. Now, on this tour, they're promising to make a comeback to the roots of the band with more traditional rock sounds, playing tracks from what is without a doubt the group's most famous release. Get ready for a true rock night at Red Rocks. Also, stay on your toes because you never know what other tracks are going to come up on Friday, May 2nd.
You're going to have a couple of options to choose from when it comes to your spot at the Red Rocks on Friday, May 2nd. There's going to be a reserved seating option at the front of the Amphitheater for anyone who wants to be as close as they can be to the band. This is also a great section for anyone who can't make it here early but still wants to have a good spot to see the show. Then, there's the general admission area from then on. Hit the get tickets button now and choose your section of the Red Rocks to see Turnover and their Peripheral Vision live!
